Audio Content Legal Requirements

There are two parts to music rights, the rights to the content and the right to broadcast the content to the public/staff

When you play music that is protected by copyright in your business, New Zealand law requires a licence from the creators giving you permission to play essentially all commercially released music from here and around the world. Instead of you having to contact and get permission from every
songwriter, composer, publisher, recording artist and record label,
for every single song you play.
Instead, we offer pre-licensed audio content via one of our SoundTrack subscriptions and we can supply, install and maintain your audio system to play that content through.

Then to play the content to the public or your staff you will require a venue licence from OneMusic. With both of these licences, one for the content and one for the right to broadcast (play) to your customers or staff, this gives you everything you need to play the hits, rare finds and favorites your customers and staff will love, the legal way.
