Linear Perfection – MR1 Mk2 features a Class A-B linear amplifier with a quality switch mode power supply. Linear amplifiers are used in the world’s best audio equipment and in our opinion offer superior performance when compared to new style digital amplifiers, which often sound forced and artificial in comparison. Linear amplification is one reason why MR1 sounds so good.

Be In Control – MR1 Mk2 features a control system which like our other products is easy to use, allowing the source and volume to be quickly changed as required. In addition, source, volume and functions can also be set and operated from the comfort of a chair with the supplied compact remote control.

Always Ready – With auto-standby built in, MR1 will automatically enter sleep mode after a short period of time if no signal is detected. This feature is particularly useful when using MR1 as a sound system with your TV as they will automatically wake and sleep as and when the TV is turned on and off.

Get Connected – MR1 Mk2 features both analogue and optical digital inputs allowing auxiliary devices to be easily connected. In particular, the optical input is ideal for connecting streaming devices such as Google Chromecast and it also provides the perfect connection point for most flat screen TV’s. MR1 also features a subwoofer output allowing an active subwoofer to be connected for extra dynamics in music and awesome movie sound.

Bluetooth At Its Best – Bluetooth’s ease of use has made it the foremost method for wireless audio streaming, working with virtually all devices and leading music applications such as Spotify and Apple Music. MR1 Mk2 with its high quality aptX Bluetooth receiver allows you to enjoy this technology at its very best with CD quality sound.

A Mini Marvel – MR1 is a high fidelity speaker miniaturised and like larger high fidelity systems, its internal crossover plays a vital role in making it sound so good! Many compact speakers use a basic single component crossover for cost and ease of assemble, but for MR1 we’ve designed a multi component network using quality audio grade components throughout.

Beautiful And Enduring – MR1 Mk3 features an attractive fixed grille clad in a unique British milled fabric from Camira. This timeless and resilient material, was one of just a few that met our requirement for both its attractive contemporary look and excellent acoustic properties.

Duo – Uno – As a pair MR1 sounds amazing, but to make them extra portable if the stereo speaker is disconnected then the master unit switches to mono operation. As a single unit MR1 is ideal for taking on holiday so you can enjoy great sound whilst you’re away from home. Add our optional power pack (BackPack3) and you can also enjoy MR1 further afield completely free of a mains connection. Once fitted can be left permanently in place as it charges automatically whenever connected to a mains power supply. A full charge will provide up to twelve hours of mains free listening depending on volume.

A Powerful Performance – Built into MR1 is a high fidelity stereo Class A-B amplifier and specially for MR1 we’ve developed custom loudspeaker units to deliver sound that belies their compact dimensions. Both the tweeter and bass drivers feature rare earth neodymium magnets which provide a powerful motor system with excellent control. With lightweight, low distortion moving assemblies, the drivers are able to instantaneously react and accurately follow the input signal delivering wonderful clean sound. MR1 brings all music to life, effortlessly and naturally. There’s no compromise in sound quality with a compact system like the MR1, which perform impressively and beyond their stature.
